These were good books overall, but they were getting so similar to the point where I got the stories mixed up at one point (I guess part of the reason for that\par
is I was reading the books at the same time). Well anyway, they both involved high profile churches, preachers, first ladies, the kids, triflin churchgoers, ya know,
the usual church drama. I can honestly say though that I like Billingsley’s book better than Weber’s. Mr. Weber is a great author, no doubt, but I wasn’t too keen
of this work. There were a few differences between both stories because the outcome of the two doted sons were totally different. But, both of them were, as I stated
before, scarily similar.
